‘’Nice kit on the face of it. Silly logic with the 4 dials and the almost invisible icons showing which belongs to which oven. We had no choise as the oven was fitted by the developer and its a new house. He tells me its an expensive bit of kit even at his discounts.

BUT here's the killer. On the first pages of the Operation Manual Siemens caution users that 'all parts of the grill tray become very hot' and that ' caution is needed' or words to that effect. All very sensible. HOWEVER Siemens in their wisdom DO NOT PROVIDE A HANDLE BY WHICH TO INSERT AND WITHDRAW SAID GRILL PAN. NOT EVEN AS AN ADDITIONAL ACCESSORY. This has resulted in my wife burning her fingers [through oven gloves!] in trying to withdraw the grill pan. We have had several such double ovens and they ALL had such handles.

Why not this one? An economy measure?

Well Siemens what about it? Anyone else suffered?

If you are serious about safety look carefully at this aspect and what other manufacturers provide; DITTO IF YOU LIKE TO GRILL FOOD. They will be better that Siemens!
