AEG 49002VMN

My original AEG 49002VMN arrived in November . Everything seemed fine apart from the touch button to increase / decrease the oven temperature . This didn't seem a big deal so I contacted AEG who sent soemone to repair it . To cut a long story short between Nov and January we had the repairmen out 5 times ! It still wasnt sorted and they all said different things . I sent AEG several emails which they ignored . Eventually I copied the retailer 'CURRYS' in to the email . They got in touch the same day and I got a brand new oven a few days later - sadly I had to pay delivery again though which hardly seemed fair but still !

Touch wood the new model is brilliant and it became apparent that as well as the oven control on my last one a number of features hadn't been up to scratch either ( with no comparison I didn't realise) .

The working one is energy efficient , boils water before you can blink and retains heat in the oven very very well . Easy to clean and looks sleek .

A shame AEG didn't have the customer care that they used to have though . A premium brand should have premuim service .

Well built, efficient and easy to clean. Cooks very well and our electricity bills have gone down a little.

This is it. Great oven and the prices was right. It was delivered to the door and RTD installed it for us.

Easy to use and boy does it heat up quickly.

Bought this model a year ago and now on third cooker replacement, first cooker did not work at all, second cooker had door seal replaced then whole oven door replaced, then the whole digital display fell into the cooker, these faults we were told by a professional repair firm were down to poor manufacturing. Third cooker we have just received and have had to pay for delivery and installation as 5 year paid for insurance doesn't cover this. AEG did say they would install our new cooker and then denied all knowledge of saying this and we'll not check there phone records to confirm. To sum up, rubbish product, unsympathetic company, untruthful, no help what so ever.
