I Had A Previous Breadmaker From Which I Had Unsat
I had a previous breadmaker from which I had unsatisfactory results. The Morphy Richards 48285 model which makes 1lb and 1.5lb loaves suits me, but may not suit family use. Asda make a set of stainless steel measurement spoons 1/4, 1/2, 1 teaspoon, and 1 tablespoon, £1 84, nicely made and well worth buying. I also use a discarded 284gr plastic cream cup. I fill the supplied M/R cup with water to the 3/4 cup mark and transfer to the cream cup. Using a safety pin I stick this through from the inside then enlarge the hole with a sharp craft knife cutting a short horizontal slit. Then I keep the cup for measuring flour and merely overfill my homemade cup and the water drains to the correct level. Ed......
Maybe you should review the breadmaker and not the way you measure the flour and water. I did not find this helpful.
