AVOID DX Delivery - never delivered after 7 days of cancellations and lies
Well, what has gone wrong with DX Delivery? I see that there are lots of good reviews, but the company has really let us down.
DX Delivery texted and emailed me that my item would be delivered on Friday June 07, so we stayed in to receive it (a big garden gate).
The DX Delivery website certainly said it was "Out for delivery today" as well.
Worryingly, I later noticed that "Scanned into storage in our Nottingham Service Centre" had been added to the website tracking........
Nothing arrived so I tried to telephone at 4pm, and sat on the phone ringing out unanswered for more than 20 minutes. No, the phone was never answered.
And nothing ever arrived, no messages, no updates, and indeed this morning (Saturday) the website still says my gate is due to be delivered on Friday June 07.
If only these delivery companies realised how much they anger, and sadden, customers by failing to deliver against promises made, and especially failing to communicate when things go wrong.
UPDATE: I immediately replied to the email address the company provided below, and as of 15:30 on Monday June 10 have had no reply from them, hardly surprising I am afraid. So I called another DX Delivery number, was put through to a robot voice, and was able to rearrange the delivery via robot for tomorrow, June 11th. We shall see.......
UPDATE 2: So nothing changed on their website today, June 11 - delivery remains due today but no notification of "Out for delivery" so I emailed them, and surprise surprise I get a text to say "We regret we are unable to deliver today as expected" and suggest that I go to the website to rebook. What a load of wallies DX are!!
One more try then, and then it is a claim for wasting my time.
So we are now booked for delivery again, now Wednesday June 12. What are the chances of actually getting this delivery?? Slim, probably. Best to avoid DX and go to almost anyone else, I would suggest.
UPDATE 3: So the promise to deliver on Wednesday passed with the usual excuse from DXDelivery / DX Express / whatever they want to call themselves, and a promise to deliver today, Thursday June 13. And this delivery has now been cancelled by DX.
That's it, I have now cancelled my order completely and asked for a refund.
I wonder if DX have in fact lost the item, or it has been stolen, or so badly broken they don't dare deliver it?
Whatever, a truly dreadful delivery company, constant lies about delivering the next day, impossible to telephone, robot replies to emails - if any replies received - and a nightmare experience.
PLEASE AVOID DX DELIVERY UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.

If Only You Did Minus Stars
Twice now they have told me that a delivery attempt was made to me and both times their delivery person was lying. The time they gave as attempting delivery I was outside my house loading up my car - to attempt delivery you would have to have passed me. You can't speak to a human being and no one answers your emails. But I am the bigger fool...I paid extra for this service.

Dreadful Service
I received an email with details of a missed order. Not possible as I've been ill at home for a month. No letter left in mail box stating I was not in. Delivery is working days only and passport or driving licence needed plus signature needed and no way to quickly check with company other than expensive line. Left message with company and they didn't call back. Lots of internet messages of warning. Is there a real DX? Is this a genuine company?
A Total Nightmare
I'm desperate to get my tickets delivered. This can only be arranged online or an automated machine on the phone. So far I've lost two days pay. Ten mins. ago I got an email saying not today after all. It has to be tomorrow now, the email says that if no one home tomorrow they will go back to ticket office. So I have to take my 3rd unpaid day off. They won't deliver to my work, the automated machine won't allow it. It won't allow another address. So another whole day waiting. I never thought there could be a company worst the parcelforce but there is. Disgusting cheap service. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
