Meadowbrook Stables, Lincolnshire

I worked at Meadowbrook Stables as a working student from October 08 - July 09. I am hard to please but this place was and IS absolutely fantastic! The yard is extremely well layed out and maintained to excellent standards. Its a such a nice place to be with a brill atmosphere!

All the horses are treated as individuals with the respect and love they deserve, which in turn they give back. The horses are fantastically schooled and extremely well mannered. They themselves can teach you to ride once you have learnt to understand what they're telling you!

The people that teach also work with the horses on the yard and ride them themselves, and so have an excellent understanding of how each horse works and how to get the best out of them. You can have lessons in anything from stable management, to ridden lateral work, to in hand and lunging. All lessons are conducted in a professional yet friendly manner at the clients pace with everything being explained step by step.

I myself have seen huge improvement in all clients whether they come weekly or just for a one off lesson :)

Lessons at Meadowbrook's is DEFINITE VALUE FOR MONEY!! I totally recommend it and shall be continuing having lessons there despite living a hundred miles away - literally!
