I Purchased My Stihl Re108 Earlier This Year To Re

I purchased my Stihl RE108 earlier this year to replace a truly shocking Karcher. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the extra cost. Stihl have some great sales technique. I was able to order the jetwasher online, but I could only collect it in person. This was due to the companies insistence that all products are inspected and given a pre-delivery inspection. When I arrived, the washer was being tested out the back!

The first thing that becomes apparent is the build quality. There is a LOT of weight to this unit! I haven't weighed it, but you'll struggle to lift it. The lance is separate from the pressure hose, the connection between the two being via a high quality brass connector with a really simple, but secure locking system. The other end of the hose (which, I may add is 8 metres long, so no lugging the washer unit around anymore, unlike my old Karcher) screws into the unit via a high quality screw thread connection. The power flex is high quality, rubberised, waterproof cable and the whole shebang just says "german quality" when you look at it. A retractable aluminium handle sits on the top, whilst the front of the unit flips down to provide storage for the spare nozzles that come with the unit.

Firing it up, the pressure washer is powerful, doesn't leak and just does what you expect it to. No drama, just blasts the crud away. And it looks good too. I now pity my neighbours and their leaky yellow pieces of rubbish! All in all, well worth the extra money and highly recommended.
