Karcher G 4.10M

Almost impossible to start when hot.

Constantly surging motor even though I followed the setup correctly.

I truly wish I had returned this item when new. Dohhh

However..... as I'm a spanner monkey and a bit daft, I modified the carb to support better hot starting and put extra control on the engine governor. It works OK but I'd avoid this model at all costs... it's basically A pos. DO NOT BUY ONE

KARCHER, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Simple useless impossible to start,, BIN IT never worked from day one... It appears no one can start this model. KARCHER should be ashamed of themselves with this useless product. Obviously never tested by KARCHER. I have no answers to starting this thing...One thing it is good for is a good workout trying to start it...

I needed a petrol pressure washer to clean my MX bike and save having to wash out my van as well as my bike after muddy meetings.

I did some research, but couldn't find too much info on the Karcher G 4.10M. A friend of mine said to avoid them as they burn pumps out quickly, he has owned 3 and had problems with them all. He has plenty of cash and bought himself an £800 honda washer.

I thought they can't be all that bad, after all Karcher virtually invented the pressure washer, and my electric one has lasted 13 years and never let me down.......how wrong can I be! This is by far the biggest waste of money ever. I have managed to start it twice, once I got some water out of it, the other time it just packed up. I have cleaned spark plugs, filter, took the carb to bits and blew out all the jets. Nothing seems to help. It is truly useless.

I have spoken to others at MX tracks who are struggling with their Karchers also. if they do manage to start them they have to use them as it will never start again when hot. some have tried modifying them to start with a cordless drill not a pull cord....

Save up some extra money and get a pressure washer with a Honda engine. It's got to be worth the extra to save your sanity!
