Not Satisfactory
Fine last year but now it looses power every 3 minutes or so. We have only had it 3 years and hardly used it. we cleaned it out to no avail

Avoid!
Thought this was one of Halfords' best. First impressions - VERY heavy, very powerful. Hose does not store neatly. Detergent dispenser (use on low pressure only) pretty useless. But power certainly impressive!
Used once for path, once to clean car. Then, after ensuring water emptied as far as possible, stored away in garden hut for the winter.
Brought out today to clean path. Connect up. Turn water on - severe internal water leaks! Disaster!
Another trip to Halfords to see if I can get my money back.

Powerfull But Not User Friendly
I bought the HP2000 after reading in Autoexpress that they thought it best value on the market? Let me enlighten you, it is a good powerfull jet wash no complaints there, however the built in detergent dispenser is a waste of time the instructions tell you to turn the nozzle on the lance to the lowest preasure to enable the soap to draw through, the jet is still too powerfull though so no soap, the other way is to conect the soft brush (supplied) to the outlet thus reducing the preasure further and you can then wash the soap on to your car they say! Here lies the problem with HP2000, the brush supplied does not connect to this appliance in any way shape or form. You will need an adaptor for it to fit NOT SUPPLIED. I have scored it a 3 because I do feel this is a great washer for little money, some of the more expensive ones on the market do have problems if you read the reviews so I dont accept you get what you pay for, however Halfords take note you reaslly should try to use your product before selling it cos this one doesn't work how it should or infact how you claim.

Bought The Halfords Hp2000 Pressure Washer Online
Bought the Halfords HP2000 Pressure Washer online and had it delivered. I used the Halfords HP2000 Pressure Washer for 3 months, admittedly changed the standard 3 pin 13 amp plug for a wet use plug to use with our wet use extension lead (safety first), use the same one with my hoover and heaters.
The machine ceased working, took it to the local Halfords for repair, without any further ado was told the warranty was void as we have changed the plug. It would appear that the Halfords HP2000 Pressure Washer is not for use in "wet" conditions and is that tempremental that it ceases functioning when a plug is changed. Avoid this product completely, and perhaps Halfords, who have no customer service skills and supply products that in my estimation are not fit for the service they are intended. The Halfords HP2000 Pressure Washer was discounted for the web price, it would appear that at £99.99 and 3 months service I would have been better off buying a better unit from a better company.
Absolute piece of rubbish - I've had two: one broke after the first outing and the second arrived with a broken lance. Don't be fooled by the discounted price

Halfords Hp2000 Has A Sturdy Casing And Looks Good
Halfords HP2000 Has a sturdy casing and looks good. On first use this unit seemed to have a reasonable performance, though the supplied lance is awkward to use. Built in detergent dispenser is useless with the supplied lance.
However after about 6 uses the pump lost pressure and vibration in the lance was evident. I have had to send it for repair under the guarantee.

Did Some Online Research And Also In-store. B&q No
Did some online research and also in-store. B&Q no longer do their cheap but effective pressure cleaner but Halfords do the HP2000, which I got for £97. Very powerful, good build and so I'm delighted. Tested it on my decking (pass), my brickwork (pass) and my drive (pass) and it flew through removing 7+ years of grime etc.
I found this review helpful because...I had to borrow a friends which is an industrial power washer but its only on loan and I need a new one so this sounds just the job
Q&A
Water pours out of the handle when the machine is turned on also the pressure is low. It is quite clean and worked very well last year. Can anyone help me?
The black nozzle at bottom that hose attaches to has worn & come away from silver internal tube. Is it possible to get it fixed, is it worth it, how much would it cost, how do I go about it?
