The Workhorse

Have owned this saw for over 12 years.. It is a great saw and has never left me down.. As expected the fuel lines and primer bulb finally gave out.. auto oiler

quit working as well..

I have collected three more saws just like this one, for backup parts. In all the years of cutting wood, this is my favorite companion. Starts easy, and has great power, add a sharp chain and your going to be impressed by its ability...

Parts are harder to find now, but I am going to keep this saw around as long as I can..

Its a true winner!!!!

Monster Saw

Bought saw new, had very little trouble, so heavy I only use when I want to do serious cutting, it never fails to start, just got out after stored for 2yrs. fired on first pull started on second. LOVE the Incredi Pull, my 5' 98 lb. wife can start it. This saw will cut circles around other big name brands friends have, makes them mad because they paid way more for them names. Overall BADDEST SAW on the block !!!

Used 10+ Years Craftsman Model 316.350840

I bought the saw new a little over 10 years ago. I bought it because of Craftsman's reputation for quality and I wanted the more powerful chainsaw. I use/used this saw for 2 to 3 days at a time once or twice a year. I cut all kinds of wood(hardwood, softwood, large diameter, small diameter). I seem to have spent more time working on this chainsaw, than the amount of work I got out of it. A few drawbacks for me was the chainsaw was a gashog. I would run out of gas too fast. Saw was a bit cold blooded. It would take me a few minutes to get the saw running and keep it running. Once warm, it ran quite well. I spent a lot of time sharpening the chains. The chain was constantly jumping the bar, chewing up the chain and the sprocket. You have to keep this chain tight and tighten way too often while cutting wood. I changed the 18 inch bar and chain out for a 20 inch bar. Wow, what a difference. I really liked the larger bar and chain for cutting, but it was short lived. Smoked the clutch and chewed up the sprocket. Repair parts are discontinued and not available anymore. That makes this saw JUNK!

Craftsman 20 " 55cc Chainsaw

Bought mine after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and has been running strong out of the box .

Started up on the 2nd pull last week after stored for over a year!

Like all chainsaws, chain will eventually stretch and need to be replaced.

Run non ethanol gas, it will perform and last a long time like mine!!!!!!

Craftsman Incredipull 55cc Chainsaw

I have owned this saw since its first run almost ten years ago and the only issue I have is the bar is getting hard to find. I see lots of reviews on how horrible the starting system is but I can only assume people are yanking the pull cord like its a normal saw. the idea behind the incredipull is you pull it very gently and slow and the system does the work. you shouldn't be jerking the cord hard at all. My saw sat for almost three years and just put gas in it a few days ago and it started and runs great after three pulls. I've had saws from poulan, husquvarna and sthil and never had one start so easy and be so reliable. Only issue it had was the grab handle but I never had a problem and they mailed me a new one for a recall and it istalled in 2 minutes.

What A Piece Of Junk

I have two of these saws and this Incredipull deal is the worst idea ever. The cheap plastic broke inside and wont rewind the rope now. The internal parts for the incredipull should have been made of metal. This has to have something to do with Obamacare, ripping people off with Junk like this, made by democrats.
