Heinz Macaroni & Cheese

I remember years ago, when I loved Heinz macaroni, I used to have to use a knife to to get it out of the can becsuse it was so thick and it tasted good.

What have Heinz done to it? It's absolutely disgusting now and resembles a runny soup which smells of sick. It's awful. I will never buy it again It's vile and don't get me started about how they have hiked the price. Making my own from scratch now.

I wish I read the reviews before I bought 2 cans of this product. I don't like the taste and there's no value for money at all.

how does anyone at Heinz taste lab think this macaroni is nice ?

Used to enjoy Heinz Macaroni Cheese, probably 20 years ago. Recently returned to it, bought 8 cans as needed easy meals. Blimey what a change. The sauce is thinner than soup. I used to have it on a jacket potato, where the sauce clung to the potato. The sauce now could not cling to a flat plate, let alone a potato. Disgusting.

Bought a couple of cans for convenience. My partner said it was revolting and didn't finish it but to be fair she wasn't too well so I just thought it was her taste buds playing up via her ill health.

I've just tried the remaining can and as I removed the contents from the microwave it genuinely smelt like a combination of smelly feet and sick, very unpleasant. I've had one mouthful and could barely stomach it, absolutely vile stuff. Was so bad I double checked the date on the can.. Threw the remainder in the bin along with what was left in the can - never, EVER again.

How can Heinz produce so much good stuff but get it so wrong with this ? I wouldn't grout the tiles with it, avoid.

It was awful and the smell was like poop and tasted like poop. You might be like how I have had poo before, because I had this. My brother loves mac and cheese but after he had this he hates it.

Never before in my 21 years of life have I ever eaten something so dreadful, so stomach churning, so unspeakably abhorrent.

I have never made an online review for a food product before EVER but Heinz Mac and Cheese was so jaw droppingly grotesque that I HAD to see what other people thought of it online and came across this.

I'm writing this 10 minutes after eating 1/6 of the tin before throwing it away. There's a warm sicky feeling in my stomach after eating such a small amount.

There's no taste except a very faint taste of cheap American cheese singles that have sat out for too long. There was too much "cheese" and almost no macaroni.

The texture was what I could only describe as the day old jellified contents of an alcoholics sick bucket.

I am mortified that such a thing exists.

The smell was horrible it was revolting. The texture was a bit slimy and there was barely any pasta compared to the sauce. I give this a 1 star. Not the best from heinz.

Tried this years ago and it was awful. Have tried it recently no improvement.

Other manufacturers are just as awful, apart from one which is slightly better.

Where does the taste come from?

Frozen is better but homemade is the best.

Very poor value.

Could not eat past the first mouthful.

Wouldn't have spagetti afterwards either, as this put him off any product with sauce.

DO NOT BUY!!!

Heinz, please stop making this, or fix this recipe.
