Bring Them Back!
Cannot believe these tins are no longer being produced. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. There is NO substitute (especially the small microwave pots).
I miss them. I always used them to combine with Mulligatawny Soup to make a nice curry. Now I'm stuck with Chinese or "Indian" takeaways, but they're not the same, Please bring them back.

Best Ever Creamed Mushrooms
These are the best, I have tried to get these but have been unable to get them for years. They have the right amount of mushrooms and creamed sauce to go with it and the right consitancey. Others are thick with hardly any mushrooms in them. I say bring Chesswood creamed mushrooms back.

Availability Resurfaced
Searching for supplies for this the premier quality product. They can be obtained in Booths supermarkets which are scattered around Lancashire. This is in microwavable tubs, [not as pictured above] but for the other forms like sliced mushrooms are still in tins. Forget about the large major superstores they don't have them.

Chesswood Are The Best
When we've had a roast chicken, I make a chicken & mushroom pie with the leftover chicken, and a tin of Chesswood creamed mushrooms. I also add some extra sliced mushrooms, and my family love it. And it's a great way of making one chicken go a long way. My only problem is I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find Chesswood creamed mushrooms in the shops.

Love Chesswood Mushrooms
I have been eating these mushrooms since the 1970's, I have to say they have reduced the amount of mushrooms in the tin since then, but I still use them & the Garlic variety WHEN I can get hold of them. I am more than capable of making creamed/creamed garlic mushrooms from scratch, but as a full time working woman with a busy schedule & hungry husband, Chesswoods Mushrooms are a fabulous addition to Fried leeks, Veg, Chorizo & Chicken to make a tasty dish served with flavoured rice. Prep & cooking time 20 minutes. I also love them on toast as a snack. With a little imagination you can use them in a variety of meals. WHY are these not more readily available anymore?

It's Just So So.
I bought it after I saw the reviews on reviewcenter, but I think it is just so so. Maybe this taste not fit for me. It depends.

Hard To Find But Worth The Effort
I love these - have been buying them since the 70's. Best on toast. Sometimes I add a fresh mushroom finely chopped, a dash of Lee & Perrins and some black pepper. Also make a great base for other dishes. Harder to find these days but can be spotted in larger Sainsbury's stores and an occasional 'Nisa' store. I found the manufacturers very helpful in directing me to local stockists when I moved home recently.
