The concept (ingredients delivered with instructions for home-cooking) is one that appeals greatly to my family. We love great food but are busy and, before this, found ourselves relying on the same meals again and again just out of habit and ease. We initially used a rival company called Gousto through their partnership with Ocado. I was impressed at first but soon began to lose interest. The meals just kept repeating and weren't as challenging or interesting as I'd hoped. My sense is they are better suited for people who are really looking to save time. For me, however, the real interest is in cooking really exciting meals and having a meal I've never cooked before to eat 3 nights per week. This is where the Recipe Kit, to whom we switched, excels. For 3 nights a week I feel like a proper chef (albeit a tv one whose ingredients are all measured out ready!). We all look forward to the meal and there are always brand new meals each week meaning you never have to cook the same thing twice. For people who food is an important part of their life, this service is genuinely brilliant. They use varied and unusual ingredients, that are high quality, and combine fine dining type recipes with 'luxury' comfort food (eg last month saw really excellent versions of classic mexican dishes but using more unusual ingredients such as tamarind, cascabel chilli, agave etc.). To keep some balance - there's a few teething problems now and then with the service as they're a young company still getting to grips with the operational side of their business but overall, I love this service and, so long as they continue to progress and improve, intend to remain a customer for a very long time.

Cooking for one can be boring and I hate going to the supermarket! Therefore The Recipe Kit could have been created just for me!

Having all the ingredients ready to cook without having to go the shops or worry about portion control or waste was a dream! Everything was labelled clearly and I personally loved the little pots that all the sauces came in (I have kept them!!).

Cooking was completely hassle free and enjoyable due to the clear instructions and all the meals tasted so good! My favourite was the pork schnitzel - surprising as when I do cook, I usually cook chicken or minced beef!!

I am more than happy to recommend this service to all my family and friends!

My boyfriend and I decided to try a Recipe Kit and really enjoyed the whole experience. Receiving the box on Wednesday evening we both got home and started cooking together. Neither of us are particularly good in the kitchen so having a really easy to follow recipe card to guide us through was hugely useful. The recipes were interesting and we used ingredients we weren't really familiar with.

Will definitely use again and would recommend for couples or friends living together.
