Terrible Customer Service

One of the deliveries went missing and they blamed Parcelforce, then when I queried it and asked to make a claim, they changed their story. I subsequently asked them to send a replacement to a new address, called and emailed twice to verify the new details and they still sent it to the wrong address. They didn't apologise but said no mention of a new address was given. when I asked for a refund they blamed me and that I was unreasonable, and they work 7 days a week with no breaks so it was overlooked. I had even called Parcelforce to get the new address updated. what more could a customer do to avoid this situation.

Incredibly Bad Service

A hamper ordered on the 17th Dec and paid via Paypal. No contract confirmation forwarded but a tracking number sent and a promise of delivery on or before the 23rd Dec was promised. Recipient stayed in the whole of the 23rd Dec to no avail as the hamper was not delivered. Hay hamper then blamed Parcel Force and said it would be delivered on the 27th Dec. This was not acceptable as the recipient would not be in. A refund could not be claimed as there was no contract number forwarded. However a refund was eventually paid, on the 31st Dec to Paypal and the blame for incompetence was put on Parcel Force.

Incompetent Service

I ordered my hamper for pre-Christmas delivery and the hamper didn't arrive until 27th Dec! I was inconvenienced by havning to buy a different gift because it didn't turn up in time. I didn't get any notifications about dispatch or delivery dates and so had no idea when it was going to eventually turn up. The company tried to claim that they attempted delivery on 24th Dec but I had no deliveries on that day.

When I eventually got the hamper I realised just how having spent £26 on it, then to realise that the wine is not 'luxury' as it costs about £4 in the shops. The biscuits and cheese definetly don't cost much either.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, it would be cheaper and more reliable to make up your own one.

Disappointing

I won a Hays Prosecco Christmas hamper in a raffle and was first very excited and then very disappointed. The selection seemed to be heavy on small and apparently broken biscuits with other items I would never eat at any time such as pistachio spread. And I don’t consider boiled sweets particularly festive. The mince pies do not appear to have an eat by date on either.

As it was a prize, I have no redress without offending. If I had bought it, it would have been returned straight away.

Really Lovely Gifts

I bought a number of gifts for family last Xmas as I had frankly run out of ideas and thought well who doesn't like food and wine.. I hadn't heard of them before but they had a nice website and there was a good range of gifts in the price bracket I wanted that would suit my different family members. All gifts arrived just before Xmas in perfect confdition and I didn't even have to pay for delivery!

They all raved about their gifts! I didn't see them myself but my dad said the cheese was better than the one they like from Waitrose and he plans to hunt some down so he can eat it again and my sister said she is still eating all the biscuits and cakes now in February as there were so many!
