Love Blind Auditions
I love the judges, the humor is great and it is fun to watch! I love the fact that they can't see who they are turning around for. the talent is awesome as well. I feel bad for the contestants when the judges make them battle against each other as I feel it sets one of them up for failure, usually, however, the fact that some of them blow their coaches away with talent they didn't even think they had, I love.
Great Idea, Average Musicians
The Voice is a very interesting concept. They take four famous artists (Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton) from four different genres of music and judge musicians solely on their vocal ability. They cannot see what the person auditioning looks like until they have decided they want them to continue onto the show.
But while I love the concept and a few of the contestants have been pretty good so far, there is the occasional mistake in my eyes. A few of the contestants who have been chosen to move on in the competition have been sub par. There are the gems such as Lindsey Pavao, Chris Mann, Jamar Rogers, and Jermaine Paul.
The show is also humorous at times when the judges fight over the contestants that really wow them. All in all, this show is pretty good and hopefully there will be some better choices made with the initial contestants in the next couple of weeks. Guess we'll have to wait to find out.
