Very Durable, Cutting And Musical Splash, Well Worth It!

I first came across Meinl cymbals by accident, I played Zildjian before I moved to Meinl, I first stumbled across the company when I began looking for my first effects cymbals (Splash and China) the Classics 10" Splash is what I ended up buying, It's made out of a B8 cast Bronze alloy, and even though it is small compared to crashes it certainly cuts over everything else and can be hard admidst my constant crashing during some of our heaviest songs.

This splash is cheap but it is not anywhere dull as you may expect for it's price, It's completely the opposite and is a very musical splash for £39 in the UK. as I've said before it cuts over everything else and has a short sustain when the stand is fairly tight, have it loose though you get only 5 or 6 seconds of sustain. I've recorded with it and performs superbly under the mics. It is rather high pitched considering it's a 10" splash however it sounds almost vintage, however it performs very well and I've still got mine after 4 years and it hasn't cracked or changed tone at all!

Overall a very nice splash suitable for all styles, cheap, durable and brilliant performance. 10/10 purely on sound.
