Wildhearts, Earth Vs. The Wildhearts - The Album W

Wildhearts, Earth Vs. The Wildhearts - The album was originally released way back in August 1993 with only eleven tracks to its name. Later, in February 1994, East West re-issued the album with the addition of the song "Caffeine Bomb". The re-issue also sported a new cover for the reverse of the CD. You'll find that if you buy the album now then you will get the twelve track re-issue as the original eleven track album is somewhat of a rarity now!

Anyway, down to business. Here's the tracklisting:

1. Greetings From Sh**sville

2. TV Tan

3. Everlone

4. Shame On Me

5. Caffeine Bomb

6. Loves**t

7. Miles Away Girl

8. My Baby Is A Headf**k

9. Suckerpunch

10. News Of The World

11. Drinking About Life

12. Love You 'Till I Don't

From the start of the album, a flood of riffs so chunky you could shake them about and call it the truffle shuffle, blast from your stereo. Ginger's gritty vocals ride the waves of their awe-inspiring British rock as they burst from track to track. This is a stonking debut album that you'll find yourself listening to time and time again. Absolute genius!

The album produced four singles that sported some outstanding B-Sides. The singles from this album were as follows:

1. Greetings From S**tsville (October 1993)

2. TV Tan (November 1993)

3. Caffeine Bomb (February 1994)

4. Suckerpunch (June 1994)

I promise you, you'll love this album. Buy it!
