Cosmopolitan

This magazine was introduced to me by one of my friends & I read this magazine. Great.

I have subscribed to the magazine for 48 months. Quality is great and tips are helpfuL. It helps me match my shoes with dresses and even gives insights on how to do my hair.

I used to love receiving the latest copy of Cosmo through the door. I haven't bought one for around a year now. I just found it became quite repetitive and what was included in the magazine I had already heard or read elsewhere.

Gone were the good offers and interesting articles and in their places unrealistic competitions and holidays most readers couldn't afford.

I was also fed up of reading about Jordan, Paris Hilton, Michele Heaton and Kerry Katona. I am sure there are plenty more celebs who would sell.

The only time I glimpse at Cosmo is in the dentist or if a friend is dishing out her old copies. My money is better spent elsewhere.

I like to be updated with the latest fashion trends and that is why I subscribed to Cosmopolitan. It gives you a quick overview of what is in and what is not. Be it make-up, clothing, accessories or tips to enhance looks, the magazine has it all!

The main problem with this magazine is that there is almost no fashion, and very little information about the clothing/ensembles that are being showcased. As a magazine subscriber, this is the main reason I buy magazines. The articles have absolutely no news worthiness and are very few. Usually the main celeb articles go on for about a page. Honestly, wikipedia has more information and written in a more intriguing style. And, yes, most people buy the magazine because of the information on sex, which can be informative but after about an issue or two the information just feels rehashed and often skewed from a male perspective or from very young girls. So, if you absolutely must buy this magazine I would suggest not to subscribe.

I received a cosmopolitan subscription for christmas and believe it to be my best christmas present by far. Every issue is full of contrasts between high fashion and high street trends, which provides an insight in to the must have trends of each month. i particularly like the problem pages and celebrity interviews. overall a great women's magazine.
