Pretty light comedy, but an interesting idea and there are some genuine laugh out loud moments in it. I think the individual actors make it better than the script alone could have done.

This is a really great movie that you can just sit on the sofa with a duvet and a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and really enjoy.

It's about a woman called Jane who has been addicted to being a bridesmaid ever since she was one at her aunts wedding. Jane is in love with her boss and has been since she started working there as an intern. Jane's sister Tess moves back and falls in love with Jane's boss,George , much to Jane's annoyance but then she finds out that they are getting married and her world shatters to pieces and she becomes furious when she finds out that there so called 'love' is based on lies Jane sets out to make the truth come to light. During this whole journey Jane meets a man called Tom who describes Jane as a bridezilla for her love of weddings and writes and article about it which later gets published by accident when Tom's boss refused to hold the story for any longer. This truly upsets Jane because she has now fallen in love with him and fells as if she had been used.

On a whole i really enjoyed this movie and there's nothing to dislike about it either! i would definitely recommend it to a friend!

This film is such a good film especially for a girly night in. It's about a Lady who spends her time being a bridesmaid and maid of honor for loads of people but she has never been down the isle herself. Will her day come? She finds it hard to say no to anything but that's all about to change when meets Kevin. There's on scene in this film that any girl will fall in love with. The scene where she shows off all her 27 dresses to the Kevin. Does she know who he really is? Well I'll let you figure that one out. Everything you need to know about the film is also on the back of the Dvd case or in the information section on the TV channel. I would recommend this film to anyone. I think you could even watch this film with your guy and they'll love it. They may not admit it but it's a good-feel film and a must see.

Ok confession time. Normally I love horror films, crime drama and sci-fi but once in a while I stick on a chick flick and I have to confess that 27 Dresses is now one of my guilty pleasures. The story of a woman who has been a bridesmaid at 27 weddings with her entire social life centred around attending weddings sounds a little dull but Katherine Heigl, James Marsden (as the journalist secretly writing a story about her obession) and Malin Akerman (as her sister) make it a great film full of light hearted moments and truths about the whole wedding process. Watch it when you need a little cheering up or just fancy a night off the serious stuff ;)

27 Dresses is without question a predictable romantic comedy.

However I loved it! I've watched so many times and still if I feel a bit not in the mood I want to watch it again. I Love New York and film was shot in New York. It is funny and entertaining. I like Katherine Heigl and I enjoy the comedies she starrs.

In 27 dresses she portraits a young girl who loves weddings and enjoys planning them, but while doing for other people she may miss the opportunity for herself! Luckily she meets this handsome journalist (James Marsden).

It is just a great movie to cheer you up!

Comical, captivating and easy watching, I recommend 27 Dresses for anyone who enjoys a good chick-flick. Although at times the plot is a bit predictable, it is a film that you can watch again and again.

27 Dresses has a lot of humour, its very light hearted. you won't be disappointed if you like girlie films

This film was good as a date movie a chick flick with your friends-something light hearted for a Saturday night. As I said the plot was obvious and by now over used but with a bunch of pretty people they made it work.

If you want a true comedy don't go see it, if you like deeper maybe thinking films-it's not for you.

Bout if you enjoy the occasional romantic comedy, and the chance to gaze at American "Hottie's" well this is the film for you!

27 Dresses is a great Rom Com, perhaps a little bit tried and tested but there are some great performances here. Basically it's the story of an 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride' kinda scanario in which Katherine Heigl plays an excellent lead character in pursuit of her own dream after being a bridesmaid 27 times. However, far from being a pile of mush, the film manages to be witty and engaging throughout. Predictable in parts, I wouldn't necessarily recommend rushing out to the cinema to watch this (maybe wait for the DVD), but a perfect feel-good movie nonetheless and fab if you're not up for anything too heavy.
