Lucky Night

Having written already several restaurant food reviews I decided to mention the maître that I was going to do just that after finishing my meal last week at Tado Steakhouse, located within the premises of and operated by Treasure Island Resort and Casino, of Prairie Island Indian Reservation in Welch, Minnesota, USA.

We had accumulated a hefty amount of comps dollars, so it is pointless to discuss pricing strategy / affordability since everything, around US130.00 total, was covered by the previous business management issuance of lightning-fast, electronic currency.

Getting back to the harsh dilemma of what is more essential for the success of these types of establishments, the painstaking kitchen work involved in dish / meal preparations, or the impeccable and courteous service any diner gets, it seemed to me this time the direct human interaction aspect won.

But, of course, this victory was not hands down by any reasonable means. My food was delicious and palatable throughout, especially the grilled lobster tail. This was, by far, the most succulent and precisely cooked item in the entire dinner. So good that I could have gladly exchanged everything else for one more of these fine sea treasures.

Regarding their entrée meat component, filet mignon, I must say although savory and tender, it was a bit too well done for me—having ordered rare temperature—and not as delightful as the same cut consumed in cities like Watertown and Mitchell, in South Dakota, where beef has always reigned supreme.

Overall, it was a great couples out dining experience which I would enjoy very much doing over if time and good luck permits.

Gee, thanks for everything.
