First Impressions Good- It Stop There”
We visited the Taste of Oz, First impressions were good, sadly it goes downhill from there, We changed our mind and wanted to add bread to the starter, The waitress sighed and rolled here eyes, when asked if we could have the bread now , The answer was it will come with the starter !
My Partner chose a £22 main I had the £16.95 Kangeroo,To be fair the kangeroo was very good as was the sauce but the pureed veg was fit only for a baby and could have been sucked through a straw.
The steak came with chips, Not any old chip these were FROZEN and boy could you tell.
When asked if everything was Ok we said no ( The still full plate might have given it away ) The waitress said sorry you didnt like it and took the plates to the kitchen where the chefs were probably swearing about us. ( How dare we complain )
We declined coffee and desert and left after paying the £64 bill
We will not be returning and should have walked away when we noticed the 4 out of 5 food hygiene rating
