Book #1 Of Horror Young Adult Trilogy
"Shallow Basin" starts fast, and stays on track. Suzanne Cowles explores the intricacies of dysfunctional family relationships and weaves that story in and out of the presence of true evil. A great first novel by an emerging talent. By the time I was finished, I was already hungry to start reading the rest of the trilogy.
Read the new face of horror in a dark poetic southern setting. Scary till the end.
