Jon July 13th, 2010 6:08 am This was a very helpful artcile. My company has been very interested in (yet extremely wary of) incorporating Ratings and Reviews. In my view, this set of best practices are spot on; which also means that it will be an even tougher sell in a risk-averse culture such as ours. For additional insights on this topic, readers may want to check out Jared Spool's hour-long presentation called Finding Treasures in the Amazon which he posted as a UIE podcast last year.
A Slow Read
I was hoping for a James Bond type of story. I shouldn’t have had a preconceived idea because I was disappointed. It was an OK read but nothing that I couldn’t put down.
So much of today’s news is about the wars in Iraq and Iran. This story just continued that theme. It started out slow and got slower. The more I read, the less I seemed to understand who was doing what with whom. I usually love spy stories or ones that are written about our “alphabet soup” organizations but not this one.
Maybe a more military/espionage mind would enjoy this but for me, I quickly lost interest and it became a chore to finish. I am going to give this to my hubby and I’m sure he will enjoy it.
