Sioux City, Gran Canaria

On arrival I was a bit sceptical, however a really good time was had by all our party. The staff cannot be faulted and the shows and the animals were a delight. A great day out. Cattle and horse stampedes, lasso tuition, bank robbery, horse whispering and a knife throwing act. A free bus to and from the location was a bonus.

Definitely wouldn't recommend as it is overprice overrated and under par on every count you can think of. We note that TCN newspaper is advertising a special deal in May of only 10 euros for the same thing that we paid a stonking great 50 euros for so it just shows what a con the whole evening is. Bad food, inedible and who wants sprouts at a barbie for goodness sake? The worst drinks ever come across. It may be fully inclusive but you'd actually prefer to stay sober than drink this rubbish. Staff are bored witless but you see why as the night goes on and you join in their boredom. The manager should be shot himself not the balloons they do the shoot out with. Then it'd be good value for money and nobody else would have to endure our misery. The worst attraction we've been to on grans canaria and we've been to most over the years. Keep your money and watch a western dvd at home instead.

We'd read reviews but been told it was a good night by our rep - yeah how much commission is SHE making we now ask??!!! Price of 50 euros which was sold as agreeat deal as all inclusive as much as you can eat and drink. Yeah right. Well thats factually correct. What they fail to point out to you is you wouldnt WANT to eat or drink the lousy quality stuff they chuck at you.

You get there and sure it looks like a cool cowboy town. Then you head for the saloon to get your first of many drinks. And it's shut. So youre sheperded to the BBQ where you get a slab of bad quality chewy steak, 2 potatos and some sprouts and gravy.

After that you can finally go to the saloon where you find the worst quality drinks Ive ever to have seen in a bar. Below bottom shelf calibre as we didnt even recognise the names on the bottles. There was ONE label we recognised - Grants whisky. Sitting on the top shelf and naturally totally empty. When we asked for them to open another bottle they said there wasnt any only the cheap stuff instead.

A plastic cup of beer in hand and warm water thats not even been in a fridge and you go to see the show which was long and tedious. It had a couple of good moments like the shootout but the rest is boring and repetitive and pointless. I dont know how many times we had to watch 2 guys throwing knives at a girl. yes we got the point 1st time around that they never missed. Give me strenght. Then back to the bar for more bad drinks and some linedancing led by bored witless staff who looked like they just wanted you to go home.

DON'T GO is my recommendation

Crazy night like being back in the old westerns. Feels like it's authentic old cowboy town with everything like in Blazing Saddles movie! Great atmosphere, good food, lively country western music. Worth a visit and very close to Playa del Ingles. Much closer than it looks on the map. Took only 6 minutes by taxi !

We'd seen some good and some poor reviews but the kids were keen so off we went. Think we adults liked it even better than the kids! The staff were fantastic and the shows great fun specially the cancan girls and the gunfights . The food and drinks much much better than expected. Venue bigger than anticipated too and felt really authentic, like you see in the cowboy westerns. We had a fantastic time, better value than Aqualand which we tried next day and were quite disappointed.

I was appalled with the quality of the food at the barbeque, cheap pork chops and sausages that were obviously mass bought in Lidl or some other dirt cheap store. The amount of full plates left behind by customers proves my point, and the drink at the bar was watered down. I found the food was generally of a poor standard in Gran Canaria, notable exceptions being Martels in Yumbo and St Nichola where the tabas dishes were delightfully cooked. If you was to go to a Wild West night in the States you would never be served pork chops, you would get steak and big meaty steaks. There were at least 200 customers at Sioux City when I was there, each paying 57 euros that makes 10,000 euros, one hell of a profit on a small outlay. The exhibitions and the show were very good, but shame about the food and drinks. I also did not care for being made to pose for a picture. I tried to get out of posing but was brought back and made to stand and have my picture taken.

absolute waste of money booked tickets with our thompson trnavel rep on first day of holiday ( she highly recomended it !! ) but we were very dissappointed food was awful staff added no atmosphere show was very amateurish bar was overcrowded so couldnot watch line dancing never mind take part all in all a very expensive and dissappointing evening wasted would have appreciated some sort of guidance as to when certain attractions were starting

i loved it. yes it was dear but worth every penny of it. the final show is amazing. free food as well. it is very good and if you go to gran canaria this is a must.

sioux city is good. i wasnt that interested in cowboys and stuff, now i want to be a saloon girl, they'e amazing. this is a place to go for the whole family. i am looking forward to going back again i hope.

we will be visiting sioux city again this year as we will be taking my mother in law. Ifind that it is good educational for local schools. I would like to say go and visit it is worth the money and it is a good day out.Go to the bar b q in the evening as that is fantastic to.and to see the show is marvellous.

Sioux City. They charge 42 euro's for 2 adults. I don't know what the price would be for a whole family, but I reckon it's way to much and should be half of it. I'd rate it 10 euro's an adult. Be there before 12, or you'll miss most of the shows. Don't make it a priority to go here though... It's funny, but not great.
