Value For Money
Looked Promising, Delivered Nothing
I have always appreciated the quality over value that Cambridge Audio of old used to give us. I bought this unit to double up as a CD player on my system. It looked neat and performed well, after 12 months it stopped powering up, turned out to be the internal power pack.
I phoned Richer Sounds for a replacement part and they said they couldnt source one, rendering it scrap, I know £40 Pacific DVD players that are still going after 7 years. I have since replaced it with a Panasonic unit to match the TV and initiate the Viera link function.
I've been using CA dvd89 for 18 years now. never let you down. Probably there was a line of better quality for deliveries to Russia. assemblies. .
