Xiaomi XYACWW Yi Action Camera

I am very pleased that I chose this camera. It is compact, it has a good viewing angle, the quality of shooting video at a high level! And she has a nice price, if you compare with GoPro.

I'm short a better spec camera than the go-pro when tested in the 'field'.

The Go Pro has a slightly wider vision field but the Xiaomi beats it in every other test.

Sony Lens and Ambarella i7 processor give this sharp and more colourful pictures.

I purchased this new for £59. The under water housing means you can then use Go Pro housing if desired. For £100 I bought enough kit to take this diving, put on my motorcycle or car dash.

I was worried it would be cheaply made and unreliable since it was so cheap but I am so happy to say it's a piece of genius. Xiaomi have stocks of big branded technology they use in their 'copy' products so can cherry pick the best for this camera.

The result is that it's actually stealing GoPros market- and too right. Go Pros cost the same to make as these, yet this is £59 and a GoPro basic £263!!

I bought 4 batteries thinking they'd die quick but nope. A whole day on a boat took 1 battery. The £7 underwater housing works a treat, I was worried something so cheap would fail but on a £59 camera I'm happier to risk it than a £263 camera! 4 dives later and it's still working perfect.

Connects by wifi to phone or tablet for remote record and live viewing so no need for expensive and battery consuming screen. I work in TV broadcast and this camera is the better buy. At this price I can buy 4 and put them all over my motto bike and still have change from what 1 GoPro would cost- and of course, picture that are just as good if not better!!

Smiles all round, I feel smug for discovering this little camera and four friends have already bought theirs as a result! Thank you Xiaomi!
