Best Buy For The Price I Found

As far as camcorders go, this one from Canon is easy to use and effective for handling whatever videographic emergencies one needs such an equipment from. Its of sturdy built and easy to use too, which are two very positive aspects regarding this type of equipment. Recommended for use specially if you are not too electronics savvy but like the good things of life.

Very Good Pictures But Confusing Instructions

This camera gives excellent recordings in auto mode and I have yet to try the other three modes.

One thing I found very confusing was the instruction manual that comes with it on a software disc.

I printed off the 222 pages of instructions only to find that the first 50 or so pages are just basically rambling on about another more expensive model, also you start reading from stage one "basic recording" and as you are going through each line of instructions for example it will tell you to read page 150, the next line will tell you to read page 94, 72, 34, 68, 120 and so on and so on.

So instead of explaining each instruction in a bit of detail you will find you are jumping all over the place, which if you are like me it can bacome quite confusing.

Also on the instructions again you think you have a wireless connection camera, and a built in memory, but you dont as the wireless and built in memory one is a lot more expensive.

I also feel that if it had a remote control it would make things a lot easier.

I have also had to purchase an extra battery costing £75 because the battery life is only about half an hour, and bare in mind that you also have to purchace a seperate memory card.
