Opticron BGA HD+ Binoculars

With a 30 year guarantee, Opticron are evidently pretty confident about the build quality too, and I have to put it down as one of the Countryman's real strong points. Comfort wise, the 10x42s are the heaviest of all 3 models at 701g, but this is still relatively light and certainly doesn't feel a burden in use.

A very reasonable price for a "midline". Easy to carry, a good weight, not heavy, but not too light.

after losing my previous pair .i bought the opticron 10x42 countryman bga hd+ binoculars for general outdoors camping the price is £350 theyre rubber armoured with centerwheel focusing oddly enough the right diopter adjuster is also on the center wheel .after focussing your left eye you pull up the diopter wheel and focus your right eye seperately then push it down theres a positive click and it doesnt catch on your clothing .great idea .the lenses are super sharp and bright iv used binos costing twice this price with less quality i was and still am surprised and impressed with the images through these binos flat field lenses are crisp from edge to edge , the neoprene strap taked the spread of weight, and stays warm in colder weather .. i wear glasses and with the twist eye pieces in have plenty enough glasses space . great quality binoculars fully waterproof used in the worst of the uk weather
