Arcam Delta 290

This Arcam Delta 290 is, so far, the best amp I own & owned. Why? Its sound very sweet, full-body presentation, big soundstage, slightly warmish sound (not muffled), powerful bass, excellent mids and highs. Running with my ELAC Uni-fi 2.0 speakers, Wireworld Oasis 7 speaker cables, Wireworld Equinox 7 IC from my IfI UNO external dac, connecting laptop & amp. This is a very good combo. One tip for (future) owners: on the back, there's a PRE-out/PWR-in connectors. Bridge them with another IC cables (in my case Audioquest Diamondback), and don't worry, nothing bad is gonna happened. Only an amazing change of sound quality! Everything becomes crystal clear, insane soundstage, stereo imaging superb. Bass is more taut, articulate, hearing layers in low range. Voices more beautiful, amazing midrange, pin pointing instrument position, more airy in between. Arcam Delta 290 is a HIGH CURRENT amp, so 2X75 watts actually sounds more powerful. This is a really good amp, and if you can find it, be free to experiment with various brand cables, like I did. Results will surprises you. NOTE: be sure that selection button is in working order, anything else is fine. Recommending this amp is easy, because the sound rewards you everytime you sat & listening.
