Heavy Means Reliable Right?!
I have owned an Ulefone Armor7E for apx 18months. I was really happy with it for some time. Yes, it weighs a ton...but that means reliable right?! Seemingly not. I purchased the handset in large part because I work in the construction environment. It will and does take the occasional knock. Nothing severe, but slips/short drops/splashes in rain etc.
No sooner did it have one or two of these and the speaker started going funny. Then at maximum volume, I struggled to hear the caller. Better still, the USB-C headphone adaptor thing stopped working so I could even use headphones. Then the damn camera lens took a hit.
Any hope of getting customer service help. Not a chance. At all. The response I did get was humorous on another level. This has actually turned out to be one of the few times I 'gave up'. Quickly realising outside of the main warranty(which in retrospect, I certainly wouldn't bank on), even technical assistance was going to be too much to ask for from these guys.
I have since been advised, with the compromise in weight/cost etc it would be better to purchase a non-tough phone, then house it in a super tough case. We shall see...but I wont be buying an Ulefone again!

Value For Money
Zero Service And Product
I made a huge mistake in buying the Ulefone Future, from ULEFONE it arrived with the glass camera cover loose in the box and was told if I wanted to send it back it would take 6 weeks to get it changed. So I glued the lens on myself,I thought not great quality.
The WIFI is terrible,GPS is a joke ,finger print sensor works every 2 or 3 times and service is zero.
After 4 weeks the screen started to breakdown.I wrote to Ulefone and sent them photos of the problem and got no answer.
After 6 weeks the screen broke down completely. I asked Ulefone to help me get the screen replaced and they told me to buy a new one from a third party supplier in China for 70$.
I posted on their Facebook page about the bad phone and service and to my surprise the review was deleted and I am blocked from posting any reviews on any of the Ulefone Facebook pages
(never known that before, guess they only want good reviews to be shown).
So I guess all the good reviews and no bad reviews are a product of their not allowing any negative reviews on their sites and posting system
I then asked them to help me again and if they would send me a replacement phone, their reply was the following:
“the phone is not defective, it’s your behavior to make the phone broken. As it’s bezel-less phone, it has the screen risk, the same to other smartphone company,
I have used Oneplus one from the start and found them to be great and always had great support.
I wanted to support another small start up company, but to be called in some many words a lier from a company I have never had before.
I am now left with a 200$ piece of junk, that Ulefone say can only be repair in the factory by machine and they will do nothing to help me fixed a phone that is under warranty.
I should have stayed with Oneplus and never tried to support a company like this, any phone can break, but the service and support lets you know if a company is good and it is clear Ulefone is not a good company.
