I strongly advise anyone wanting to visit that dreadful site to stay well away

unless you want to trow you money away. Can't believe they

are still operating. Swoggi should be shut down.

1000's of disgruntled clients can't be wrong. I read a article from a respected financial journalist stating what a good website Swoggi was and thought I would look into it. Before I could actually discover more I needed to "Register for Free" which I did and during the process was asked what payment method I would use - I stated PayPal and immediately £50 was taken from my account. I immediately asked for this money to be refunded and was told only £35 would be paid back.

I then have read 100's of accounts where innocent enquirers have suffered the same fate and still Trading Standards give them the green light?

DO NOT GET BURNED THIS WEBSITE JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND DONT CARE HOW THEY GET IT. IF PAYPAL AND CREDIT CARD COMPANIES REFUSED TO DEAL THEY WOULD DISAPPEAR - NOW THAT WOULD BE CONSUMER PROTECTION!

This site appeared to have been reviewed in a newspaper by a journalist who said it was marvellous. It was a misleading advert, not a review. I signed up to bid and put in my Pay Pal account details to them so that if I bought anything I could pay via Pay Pal. Next day I checked my Pay Pal account and they had debited it to the tune of £50.00. I contacted SWOGGI and they agreed to a refund but minus a £15 "admin fee". I cut my losses and went for it. They said the £50 was to allow me to make bids on items AT A COST OF 15 pence PER BID!!

They have been investigated in the past by Advertising Standards and they have upheld at least one complaint about them.

This is a rip off site. Do not, do not, do not, have any dealings with them. It is all just too good to be true.
