I've Been To Bansko 6 Times And Booked Through Ext

I've been to Bansko 6 times and booked through Extreme Bansko for the past 4, usually in a group of between 8 to 25 and staying at the Top Lodge Apartments, which is only 5 minutes walk from the Gondola and top end of town. Top Lodge itself is very nice and has some great facilities including, swimming pool, sauna, gym, table tennis, football table etc. Always nice to use the pool or sauna to chill out after a hard days boarding and of course would be rude not to include a few apres beers!

On Sundays you can be queuing for the gondola if you get there mid morning, but if you are serious about your winter sports you should be up early anyway for the first gondola, which will avoid any queue. The rest of the week is usually pretty good with maybe a 5 minute max wait. Once you're up in the mountain, lift queues are minimal and with the card reader barriers it's nice and simple. The top is usually quieter and wider than the lower levels and depending on the conditions this is a great area for all levels of skiing/boarding. Don't forget the ski/board park for that extra bit of fun and look out for some great off piste action through the trees!!

For food and drink make sure you look around as prices can vary between the top end of town and the old town, the old town being the cheapest but no difference in quality. There are several bars for apr s, the Happy End Bar near the gondola is very popular mainly because many people just cant be bothered to walk into the old town as it's a 10 minute walk, but there is more choice and a couple of nightclubs for the late night party animals, so give it a whirl. We have had some superb nights out with the locals and seasonaires in the old town!

I've read reports of poor food in Bansko, but having eaten in 15 or so restaurants there, I can't say I've ever had a bad meal and they love piling on the meat! Just don't ask for 'potatoes in a Bansko way' when you sitting down with you're mates, because when you find out they are just 'chips' you make yourself look a bit of an @rse!

The service from Extreme Bansko was excellent and always book our ski passes in advance with them for peace of mind. For those who needed to hire their equipment, again we simply booked through these guys and was not disappointed. Flights with Easyjet, transfers to/from Sofia/Bansko with friendly drivers and modern mini buses/coaches depending on how many there are going and are always on time and holding up your name card.

All in all trouble free booking, a great resort and looking forward to next season.

Me And My Nine Friends Went To Bansko For A Stag D

Me and My nine friends went to Bansko for a stag do staying at top lodge. We had a fantastic trip. The village of Bansko is beautiful and easy to get round. The slopes there range from absolute beginner to a high level of diffuculty. There is plenty of Apres Ski, and food and drink stops on the slopes. The apartments have everything anyone would require and the pool and sauna are perfect after a long days skiing. The only small downside is the transfer although it was well organised is quite long, this is easily resolved by timing your flights correctly i.e don't get there late in the evening. The price we paid for four days skiing was incredible to what we normally pay anywhere else in europe...... Highly recommended.....

I'd Like To Thank Extreme Bulgaria For All Their H

I'd like to thank Extreme Bulgaria for all their help with our booking/holiday. They certainly made the booking and the constant additions an easy process. We had a group of 20 people and no complains so that just goes to show how helpful they were.

It was nice that the driver/transfer were at the airport waiting for us and that the bus was big enough for everyone and their luggage.

Unfortunately, the driver didn't know where the hotel was, so it was a little worrying when he couldn't speak English to us and we didn't know the name of the Hotel. But this is the way the Bulgarians seem to work, they are not at all organized and they are very laid back about things.

The hotel was booked, clean and tidy. The rooms were extremely spaces and everyone was very impressed with the size of the rooms. The beds where comfortable and the sheets clean.

However, hotel pool heating was turned off and the steam room didn't work. We often visited the pool in hope that it would be heated and warm, but were always disappointed that it was freezing cold. But on our return were advised that you need to ask at reception for them to turn it on....

All in all, a very good holiday was had by all 20 of us!!!

First Trip To Bulgaria, Decided To Go With 'extrem

First trip to Bulgaria, decided to go with 'Extreme Bansko' and wasn't disappointed. I went with 3 university friends to catch up and do some snowboarding. The one-bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and the block even had a sauna and stream-room. The Gondola was only a short walk away and there was a free bus if you were feeling the effects of the night before.

It snowed the first 3 days we were there so we had fresh powder which was good as the mountain was needing some. The town itself is small but full of nice restaurants and places to drink & eat. Prices are very reasonable ranging from £4 - £15 for a good evening meal and drinks.

All the information we needed was provided by 'Extreme Bansko' prior to getting to Bulgaria, and they were very helpful and answered all our questions.

I would recommend Bulgaria for all levels of skiiers/ boarders and for both families and groups of friends.

Just Returned From A Fantastic Skiing Holiday In B

Just returned from a fantastic skiing holiday in Bansko. This was our first skiing holiday as a family, and we found Bansko to be a great resort. We booked our accommodation through Extreme Bansko and flights with easyjet. Extreme Bansko were very helpful, as we had never been to Bansko before they gave us all the maps and advice that we needed.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which was very spacious and fitted out with modern furniture, a better sofa than we have at home I might add!! The apartments were in a good spot, only a short walk in one direction to the Gondola, and the other way to Bansko's traditional old town.

The snow wasn't too good for the first few days, but things improved after a much needed dump of snow!! The children had alot of fun in the ski school, and they want to come back next year!
