Banff, Spruce Grove Inn

If you are looking for a bed and nothing else this is the place for you.

This place is old and needs many upgrades. Everywhere you look, they have used the Band-Aid solution. The windows are dirty, the carpets are worn out, the walls are beat up and need fixing and paint. It felt like they just wanted our money but they weren't willing to make the place look nice.

They said free Wi-Fi but we had none in our room and had to go to the lobby to get minimal service.

If you are Canadian, this is a rip off! Note the FinePrint that you pay in American dollars! Rather crazy when the hotel is in Canada and you are Canadian but you pay in American dollars!!

I would've liked to have known this before I made my purchase. I never would have stayed here.

I had asked if there was a free breakfast and they said no but when we got there there was a cold breakfast and you could pay $7.30 if you wanted the hot breakfast.

We would definitely not stay here again. Canmore is 15 minutes away and has much nicer places for reasonable prices.
