I Think Parga Is Beautiful! I Love The Fact That I

I think Parga is beautiful! i love the fact that it is a small place but big at the same time, the reason why i say this is that parga is small but there is soooo much to do! i love going on the water rides on Valtos beach, sun bathing, swimming in the tango club or even the vekios in the morning and by night time i just love to go back to the room and get washed off and go to all these restaraunts and bars that they have on the harbour, its just a perfect place to relax and have a good time. I would recommend this place to anybody! also i would recommend going before august 14th and have that day in your holiday because you will be amazed by The Kanaria festival is celebrated, to commemorate the return of the residents from Corfu, where they had migrated in the 19th century, after the sale of their town to the Turks. Two series of boats, decorated in the Venetian style, arrive in the port of Parga, where they receive an amazing welcome, accompanied by music and fireworks which the fireworks are amazing!! i definitely would recommend this holiday to anybody! xxx

Very Good Hotel, Just Out Of Town Up The Hill To T

Very good hotel, just out of town up the hill to the South (walk down, taxi back!!). Very good reviews on Trippadvisor & Zoover - and totally justified as it is one of the nicest small hotels with the nicest staff in which we have stayed.

Town itself is pretty good, but the organised trips are a bit limited - take an independent trip to Ionnina (on a lake - but bypassed by all the organised tours) for a good day out.

We Are Going Back To Parga For The Fourth Time Nex

We are going back to Parga for the fourth time next year and can't wait. Can't wait to introduce our children and their partners to this picture-postcard part of Greece. It's a beautiful and unspoilt town, with no "hi-rise" - (even new buildings are built in sympathy with the original surroundings). Taking coffee up at the castle cafe in the afternoon under the shade of the tall trees and looking down on the harbour and local boat traffic is so peaceful. We have always stayed at the Parga Beach hotel - which is very, very basic accommodation but set in lovely parklands which are well tended and watered daily. It is worth staying there just to experience breakfast under the canopy in the open air next to Valtos Beach. Make good use of the water taxis in and out of the harbour/local beaches - the walk up to the castle from Valtos Beach and down the alleyways the other side into town can be exhausting in the heat. Wish I was there now....!

We Stayed At Harmony Resort (formerly Villa Petro

We stayed at harmony resort (formerly villa petros) for a week it was lovely, very peaceful and George and his wife made us feel very welcome!!

it was a nice walk to the town centre which we did at least once a day every day. the housekeeping was excellent. there was always something to do and in the evening we sat and 'people watched'. we also walked up into the hillside shops etc. went on the hidden Epirus trip and on a great boat trip to paxos and the blue caves but i cannot remember the boat name but it was not the marco polo (about 2-3 boats b4 that) all in all a good time was had by us

Overall Excellent, Very Good Holiday. Apartments W

Overall excellent, very good holiday. Apartments were in the town but just 10 minutes up a slight hill with fresh baker, mini market, cafes etc on the way. Shops, tavernas, restaurants and harbour all within 10 min walk. Would recommend Parga to anybody who loves Greece like we do!

Lovely Food, Friendly People, Weather Great, Beaut

Lovely food, friendly people, weather great, beautiful place, would go back. Lots of rubbish left in certain places, could be kept cleaner and tidier. Very nice place, accommodation basic, but clean and tidy.

Very beautiful.

Parga Is Lovely Little City With Nice Beaches And

Parga is lovely little city with nice beaches and restaurants. It is a bit isolated from the rest of the Greece and the best way to get to it is by sea. We had a terrible experience in our first accommodation - Villa Avli. In general I recommend Parga.

Parga Is A Visual Treat With A Lovely Harbour Over

Parga is a visual treat with a lovely harbour overlooked by a Venetian Castle. Parga has lots of shops and bars and restaurants to suit every taste. Wonderful winding streets. Visit Valtos or Lichnos beaches by water taxi. Go on a visit to Ali Pasha's fort but take plently of water, walk back to Anthousa a stay for a drink before asking directions home via the lemon groves into Valtos where you can catch the water taxi back to Parga.

Other trips include a boat trip to Anti Paxos and Paxos - not much there and a bit too long for a full day. Secret Epirus - oracle of the dead finishing off at Zalonga and the Acheron river - not for poor swimmers!
