Down Hill From The Start With A Long And Disorgani

Down hill from the start with a long and disorganised check in. Staff were unpleasant and seemed like they didn't enjoy their jobs. Rooms were shabby and of poor quality. The entertainment was old fashioned and poorly organised and although the food was of good quality with plenty of choice the dinning facilities were very poor with the supply of plates cups and cutlery always running out. The table cloths and napkins were shabby and did not create a pleasant eating experience. There was insufficient staff at the bar with long lines waiting to be served all the time. The most annoying thing seemed to be the total lack of management and organization. I would not recommend the holiday inn sunspree hotel to anyone experiencing Jamaica for the first time it would out you off going again.

We Stayed Here In February And Loved Everything Ab

We stayed here in February and loved everything about it, cant wait to come back it was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, my son is 10 and he loved it he was not board once We also got married at the hotel and had a fantastic day, the wedding planner is great at sorting everything out and making your day as stress free as possibleYes there was queues and flies but you could get them anywhere, just being by the pool in the sun made you forget all your woes as they say in Jamaica NO PROBLEM everything is airie.

Booked With First Choice On A Star Plus Seat - 5 S

Booked with First Choice on a star plus seat - 5 star hotel, fabulous holiday once they sorted themselves out! They had a problem on day one as we had 4 other people joining our 'jammin in Jamaica' tour on day 2 so we were actually a day behind, but all in all a great holiday.

The Holiday Inn Sunspree In Jamaica Is An Amazing

The Holiday Inn Sunspree in Jamaica is an amazing place to stay, with beautiful scenery. The complex is very well maintained, and hygiene standards are excellent. Everywhere is cleaned each night, ready for use the following morning.

I was very hesitant and anxious about going to the resort due to the number of bad and off putting reports I had seen on the internet. At one stage I had even tried to cancel the holiday!! This resort is very welcoming, safe, clean and comfortable, and you're almost guaranteed to have a memorable, enjoyable and relaxing time. I will for certain be going back as soon as I can get the time off!

If you're travelling with children there is an abundance of activities from first thing in the morning right through to bed time. The staff are very attentive and kind people.

With regards to food and drink; well, this is continuous all day and all night, with food ranging from burgers and chips to steak and chicken etc. It is all freshly prepared, not to mention all the freshly made desserts! Although I stayed in the resort for the two weeks I was there, there is the option to go on many tours etc. Other activities within the resort included water rafting, glass bottom boat, fishing, banana boating and much more.

This is a beautiful place, and I strongly recommend it. You will really enjoy it, and it will be a place you will recommend! If you have also been reading bad reports about this resort, please ignore them. I am so glad I went. It's the type of place you will want to go back to again and again!!

I Write This Review For Helen From Halton Hospital

I write this review for Helen from Halton Hospital, who has booked to go to the Holiday Inn Sunspree in Montego Bay in February. Helen, you won't be sorry. It will be money well spent!!

The rooms are very nice and large too. In Jamaica a king size bed really is a king size bed, not like ours in the UK.

The downside is the bathroom is too small, but there is plenty of hot water, clean towels and loo rolls.

The food was very nice, and of course you have to expect Jamaican food being as you are there.

The entertainment was okay, but nothing extraordinary, but OK. We sat on the deck near the beach bar most nights because of the lovely cool breeze that came up from the sea.

The beach bar opened at 11am each morning serving food, including burgers, hot dogs, toasties and jerk chicken. Oh, and fries. And alcohol, and non-alcoholic drinks.

If your tipple is Smirnoff or Canadian Club, ask for it by name, as they don't always have them on show, but the bar staff will always accommodate you.

The staff are all very pleasant and cheerful, and nothing is too much trouble.

A tip of a few dollars and they will pamper you no end. Do it! It's well worth it.

I would definitely go back.

I went to Jamaica in July 2004, and stayed at the Holiday Inn in Montego Bay. The weather was good. There were a few rainy days, but the hotel was fab! I would definitely go back there. It is excellent for kids too.
