Could Be Better
We stayed at this hotel in Manchester a few weeks ago and we just didn't like it. The hotel was boring, the staff were like zombies, we felt awkward akin them for extra pillows, it was like they couldn't be bothered. however compared to other travel lodges that we have stayed in the past, they was definitely the worst one.
Spent A Night There While I Was On A Business Trip
Spent a night there while I was on a business trip. Excellent service and clean environment. The tariff is also reasonable. The TV in my room wasn't working and they replaced the TV for me. Recommended.
Not Relly Happy
Luckily, we were not evacuated early in the morning as the person who has written the review before. We were to stay there when we first moved in Manchester, it was for a couple of days though, but really the hotel needs renovating, urgently!

Tired And In Need Of A Refit Urgently
I wouldn't stay here again, was initially given room 511, went back to reception (as there are no phones in the rooms) to reject this room as the bed sunk almost to the floor and there was a bad smell of cigarettes. Was given a disabled room 521 as a replacement which was an improvement.
Not enough staff about the place or in reception or the bar.
The icing on the cake was when the entire hotel was evacuated at 6 in the morning due to some kind person smashing an alarm panel and running out of the place.
Was a terrible experience not to be repeated.
