Troulos, Koukias Apartments

We have stayed at Koukias now approximately 5 times and we have been in pafrties ranging from 2 of us up to 19 of us!. We have always had a fabulous time here and Troulos is pretty central for getting around the whole island. We hire jeeps which enable us to get pretty much everywhere! we have also had quad bikes which are fun but can be dangerous!!!

Skiathos Island for me offers the perfect holiday. you can go clubbing on the club strip (which is way out in town and the noise does not affect anyone who does not want to be affected by it!!!! or it can be quiet and relaxing on some of the secluded beaches. All of the beaches are beautiful, some obviously offering water sports and excitement some offering tranquility and peace. There are fantastic places to eat and drink and socialise or places to just sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a little cocktail or 3 . The choice is yours. Anyone who says it is too quiet or too noisy well sorry you are just not seeing enough of the island. You can find what you want on this island you just have to look!.

My dream is to win the lottery and buy a little holiday home on this beautiful beautiful friendly island. for me it is just PERFECT!!!

Until then, Koukias Apartments have everything I need and more. The pool area is always clean and tidy, the daytime food is great, the bar is open until you want it to be. Kostas loves to hear himself sing, but hey.... he's not hurting anyone he is just trying to get you to join in and have a good time. BUT If you absolutely cannot stand Karaoke then don't stay at Koukias, but its not on all the time but if you hate it then you hate it.

I would recommend this place to anyone, the apartments are very clean and air conditioned (for a fee) I just love it here and cannot wait to get back x

every minute of our holiday at the Troulos Koukias Apartments was a holiday. all the staff were very very helpfull the bar was open for as long as we wanted. it wasnt noisey either when you went back to the appartment which was very nice and always cleaned it was nice to look out at the orange trees. they arranged bbqs which they made authentic greek kebabs s well as other nice food overall it was lovely not to touristy which was nice and an occasional visit to the town at night is a must.

Brilliant holiday for anybody there were 15 of us who went including one 2yr old and we all didnt want to leave, we've all booked again for summer 09.

Koukias Apartments is a lovely place to stay for a relaxed holiday- all staff make you really welcome. If you want a relaxed holiday to just enjoy the sun and sea Troulas is the place

On the whole I love Skiathos I always feel like I've come home so that just makes it for me. Great places to eat, like nectar and Yassou in Troulous itself, also the little bar at the beginning of the road down to the beach is great. The town well endless remarks just great.

There was plenty to see and do in Skiathos. One afternoon we went on a walk around the residential part of town (quite a hike up steep hills!)

Skiathos is a beautiful island not as expensive as we were led to believe, Skiathos Town is charming and not as commercialised as some would have you believe. If your idea of a quiet holiday is up a dirt track with a couple of goats thethered nearby and one or two tavernas then you may find Skiathos a bit busy. We went in September and it was perfect very beautiful. Walk up the hill away from the main harbour area and you will find lots of cosy, intimate restaurants/tavernnas. I would recommend Skiathos Balcony, amazing views over the harbour and sea very romantic.

Staff are very friendly at Koukias Apartments, there is Air Con!!! too. It is situated close to lots of yummy places to eat & some very nice bars! & walking distance to some wonderful beaches! evening entertainment in the bar, nice big pool with lots of loungers, 7 some good snacks available all day.
