£10 a mile because of a football match is disgusting I’ve paid less on Christmas Day!! Shame on the drivers for excepting this. Will not EVER use again.

Surcharge Makes It A Rip Off
It's a great idea in principle, but was far more expensive than a taxi. Beware of added charges. The milage was the same price as the surcharge. The driver was also very rude and abrupt. He was unable to speak much English. A real disappointment.
Driver Just Left Young Girl With No Way Of Getting Home
Young girl told to get out of cab because driver had another fare. Explained that she had no battery left on her phone and the driver said "that's not my problem". He had been waiting outside the wrong address (not her fault). Didn't care that he was leaving her in an area she did not know that well with no means of communicating with family or friends. What kind of human being does this. NEVER EVER AGAIN. WARNING TO YOUNG PEOPLE - YOU ARE NOT SAFE WITH THESE PEOPLE. Use a registered cab company.
Awful Business
Every time i have tried to book through uber, i get a price, then i look again and the price has gone up 1.5x ie a full 50%!!! Then 2 or 3 cabs cancel as they've prob found an easy fare on the way, unprofessional, and frankly, awful
Lousy Customer Service
I had an Uber ride from McLean, VA, to Dulles Airport Jul 25. At the airport, the driver dropped my computer bag into the asphalt when he opened the trunk, causing damage to the metallic case of my work Apple computer. I contacted Uber customer service via their web site the same day, with updates, pictures and price estimates from the Apple Store August 14. After some email exchanges, still leaving the issue unresolved, Uber stopped answering my emails requesting updates. The last response was September 2. I have asked for updates Sept 18, Sept 25 and Oct 1. No response. My last email from Oct 1:
"Dear Uber,
While I may accept that it takes a while to find a solution for this, I find it unacceptable that you do not even bother to answer my two last requests for any updates. Meanwhile, my computer still has damages worth$1,061,.86, caused by one of your drivers.
Rest assured, I will not use Uber anymore if this is the level of service you provide!"
5 days later: Still no response!

I had a £10 promotion added to my account as a new customer and was charged £16 for a 8 minute journey, No traffic whatsoever. I emailed in my complaint and the person who responded to my email basically tried to justify the charges. Never again will I use this service. I did not like the fact that after my second email I did not even get a response which I found to be very rude.
