First Time To Cruise Holidays But Absolutley Loved
First time to cruise holidays but absolutley loved this ship. The meals were astonishing with a huge choice in fact too much! 5 star meals with a 5 star service from our waiting team. Nothing was too much trouble, even arranging the Chocolate milkshake & cookies for our children. The fun factory for the children was excellent & the children were taken to see shows & behind the scenes. The shows were amazing with a cirque du soleil set, Broadway singers, entertainment galore around the ship. Cannot wait to book another cruise in the future.

Lovely Ship And Very Quick And Easy To Board. The
Lovely ship and very quick and easy to board. The food at breakfast and lunch was excellent with a great choice, however the evening meal was very different, the choice wasnt great. My husband had the duck one day and it was very dry I had the same problem with a steak.
Our waiter was very overworked and had the most tables I have ever seen on a ship. We had a very long wait between courses. The main problem at dinner was a total lack of vegetables. Some of the meals came with no veg at all! and when we did get them there was very little. An example is, with a steak two tiny new potatoes and two pieces of asparagas. We asked for more spuds and we had to wait twenty minutes for them to be cooked!
The entertainment in the theatre was excellent but there was nothing really worth while during the day.

Travelled On Indepndance 4 Times And This Ship Was
Travelled on Indepndance 4 times and this ship was even more beautifull if not quite as jaw dropping! we sailed on the 26th April to Le Havreand it was a much more relaxed atmosphere with no anouncements over the pa every 5 minutes about the art auction or the bingo etc. As it was the maiden voyage i think the staff have yet to gel but were all very friendly. Entertainment great on one night as Paul Zerden the excellent ventriloguist was on, other two nights singing and dancing but the other guests seemed to enjoy it.
A few gripes, the pools were all shut by 10pm, no real places to snack throught the day on a simple roll etc, late night snacks were an embarassement and you could be waiting quite some time to be asked for a drink.
Overall though we really enjoyed it and would cruise with Celebrity again but i think we have been spolied by the Indy!!!
