Stayed Here For The Fisrt Time At Easter. Really
Stayed here for the fisrt time at easter. Really friendly and helpful. Preferred it to other sites in Gwithian. It is a fair way from the beach but it is a lovely, worth while walk. Landlord in red River pub remembered us from a previous visit to check out the site etc. Going back this weekend and again in September. Would highly recomend it.
Gwithian Farm Campsite. Me, My Husband
Gwithian Farm campsite.
Me, my husband and two children 8 and 5 and our dog visited the first week in july 2009. WE thought the site was excellent for the money. The toilet and shower block were spotless and always hot running water. The site is quiet but the ice cream van makes an apearance and also the local indian visit curry and rice £5.50, fish n chip van and fresh fish van which all visit the site. Beach is a little trek away but worth it no good with small children or elderly. staff friendly and helpful good bargains on kids wetsuits in the site shop, they also hire bbq for the night, mobile charging facilities and ice pack freezing facilities they even charged my sons laptop (ps ladies plugs in laundry room for straightners). Will be back next year.
Gwithian Farm Campsite In Cornwall Is Generally A
Gwithian Farm Campsite in Cornwall is generally a clean and tidy site located in a quiet village. It was a bit pricey and there was nothing for younger children to play on, apart from a small sand pit. It is a hike to the beach, especially for families with young children in pushchairs, and it is not easily accessible at all. The beach is fabulous, and there is loads to do around Hayle. Most pitches are on a slant, so we woke up in the mornings at the opposite side of the tent.
Don't use the tumble dryers or washing machines, as you will just feed them with 50p's, and your washing will neither be clean or dry. I put £5 in the dryer to dry 5 towels!!
