Water Water Everywhere But Not That You Would Drink.

Comfortable BUT the flush pump gland leaks, the flush if pulled firmly will go over the top of the rim and the gate valve seal leaks. So only use outside on well draining ground.

For Such A Simple Piece Of Engineering It Is Amazi

For such a simple piece of engineering it is amazing how wrong they have got it.

Again blamed everyone else for missing but its the slide seal which is poorly engineered.

Please avoid at all costs - go for a Thetford and let the kids enjoy many happy minutes without wet flip flops.

As With Everyone Else It Leaks. When Used In A Ten

As with everyone else it leaks. When used in a tent I turned the groundsheet over so it leaked into the soil but now have a campervan and it has stained the shower floor. No it wasn't particularly cheap and I'm cross because I took ages to choose something really compact. I'm wondering if I can adapt it to bypass the offending part which is the slide valve but looking at Kampa Kharzi as a cheap replacement.

I Thought I Was Going Mad. After A Using The Campi

I thought I was going mad. After a using the Camping Gaz Portable Toilet just a few times in the first year, this year, I too have had an unexplained leak on the floor of my tent, and I too accused the other members of my family ( males) of missing.

I finally spotted the offending leak, and yep you got it, right at the point of pulling the valve. Grrrr. Very annoying, I've been bragging to my friends how convenient it was. Not so sure now, its not pleasant to clean. Thankyou to this website for reassuring me I'm not alone.

The Camping Gaz Portable Toilet Is Bulky, It Leaks

The Camping Gaz Portable Toilet is bulky, it leaks from trap door slider onto the floor, the flush dont hit the front of the pan, its heavy, the emptying is tricky, the materials used are cheap and nasty, it is way over priced. Buy a thetford, DONT WATSE YOUR MONEY.

So Everyone Else Is Having The Same Problem With T

So everyone else is having the same problem with the Camping Gaz Portable Toilet! This toillet definitaly leaks from the pull out valve. I had to keep washing the mat that I put under it as it smelled....not the highlight of my holiday! We used it for 2 years, the first year, I wasn't sure if it was the boys missing the pan! This year I think I'll go for a cheaper model maybe the kampa khazi.

Bad Design Fault With This Camoing Gaz Portable To

Bad design fault with this camoing gaz portable toilet- as stated on previous reviews, the sliding valve between the pan and holding tank allows urine (and other unmentionables) to run down the front of the toilet, via the sliding valve handle. During our latest holiday in a campervan, the toilet compartment became almost unbearable to use due to the smell of stale urine leaking down and contaminating the loo compartment floor. The sliding valve is also extremely stiff to operate (my wife has broken her nails twice whilst using it) . Basically, this toilet has been such a "pain in the arse" that we are going to dispose of it and buy a Porta Potti!

Do you need to put chemicals in this toilet? If so which ones?
