After using all the rest of the gen 1 & +1, i almst gave up, i put doublers on, extra infa red , you name it..then i tried a nvrs-f on trial..its not the best i have seen.... but, way way out in front of the general run of the mill junk out there, avoid ATN,at any expense.. Vomz are 2nd best & good also 4.2x50 pns, just a little heavy. You need extra ir with all, to see anything smaller than a fox @ 50yds or so.
NVRS-f is the best unit of them all..i can see clearly to 50yds bunny & 75 fox, i have it on a 22 hornet c/f rifle & works fine.. for the £££ it adequate, expect to spend another £100 on a doubler lense & £100 on a good I.R to it.
DO NOT GET ARTIFICIAL LIGHT DOWN ANY TUBE, ANY MODEL OR MAKE..IT WILL DESTROY YOUR SCOPE !!
I found this review helpful because...I am thinking of purchasing this very model NV scope (for rabbit control)and i always research a product before buying,especially when spending so much.Its good to read some 'real world' feedback by someone who already owns/or has used one.
