I order a large number of small items and a pole. The delivery was dropped over a 7 foot fence onto a concrete patio. The pole had not been packed just put inside a cardboard box with all the other stuff loose. The box was of poor quality and the top had ripe off and had been replaced with a plastic bag by the couriers. The poles protective cap had come off and the pole was extending in and out off the end of the pole which was sticking out of the carrier bag. I contacted Dragon Carp and their response was its note for future reference. Fortunately this was not an expensive pole and I bought it to test the service before placing a full order. My advice is if you need to buy anything that is breakable ask for it to be put into a protective tube before it is sent but looking at the feedback from customer services they may not do it. If it arrives and its broken return costs are down to you even when they haven't packed it correctly.

Having returned an Avanti Powerstretch 20ft Take Apart Long Reach Landing Net Handle which broke on 1st use 2 months after receiving it was advised cash refund not possible as return was not within their Warranty Period WHICH IS JUST 14 DAYS !!!!! Also not willing to cover £8 postage for same reason Offered a credit note for £30 which reluctantly accepted and once showed on my account proceeded to order £55 of goods which guess what triggered another £10 postage. So far £30 postage for effectively £55 of goods!!!!! When goods arrived found credit not offset and charged full £65 to my debit card. Phoned straight away and told couldnt do a partial refund but hey ho offered another £30 credit note. When I use this I will have paid £40 postage on get £86 0f foods. VERY UNHELPFUL STAFF who to start with had done nothing when the Landing Net handle was received back until I contacted them again by phone to chase up. Then they didn't tell me Dragons systems are so antiquated that they cannot add £30 to your computer account but have to keep a manual file and only way to use a Credit Note is to place your order by phone. Its the principle here of totally lacking customer service at a time other internet sellers are exceeding Service expectations e.g. Vale Royal Angling 10/100. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ... despite cost is the principle so am sending the whole lot back and WILL NEVER ORDER FROM DRAGON AGAIN OR ATTEND ONE OF THEIR SHOWS !!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL ROUND !!!! GO TO TACKLE SHOPS for accountability not shirkability.

ordered two sets of the new hangers even saw the video saying how good they are very good price 40 pound for two sets pluss ten pound post recied them opend them all looked fine untill i put batteries in one did not work so i phoned number was handed two three different people to be told we have thousands of them i will post out straight away sencond class i waited 5 days not recieved anything phoned again to be told they only post on thursdays odd i will send you one stll not recieved it i think its bad service no good i will not purchase again

Have dealt with this company a few times now and each time the product was damaged, wrong item, prices displayed were with wrong info and wrong price.

I'm all for 'what you pay for, is what you get', but ABUSIVE,UN-TRAINED STAFF IN CUSTOMER SERVICES is not what I want thrown in with the price!

They also trade under 'USED TACKLE' which is on your reciept, (this tells you something too). I have taken this forward to my local trading standards who are dealing with it.

I would STAY AWAY FROM WWW.DRAGONCARPDIRECT.COM AND WWW.DRAGONCARPDIRECT.CO.UK and spend your money where its going to be appreciated with good products and customer services.

had a brolly off then broke on the first outing the landing net pole snaped landing a 2lb bream this stuff is cheap and nasty like their customer support dont make the same mistake as me stear clear at all costs

This company is just selling cheap Chinese fakes,

There costumer service is next to none and they refuse to answer emails to deal with problems.

My advice would be to stay away from these muppets.

bad workmanship verey poor equipment i would advise anyone who wants to get good long lasting tac to avoid this shoping site at all costs would have been beter going to the pound shop its that bad and when it comes to getting you money back forget it because you wont get it back i bought a 2 man bivvy parts missing all the seams were laderd and they still wouldnt give me my money back very arogant call center staff tell your friends to stay clear poor tac shop

Ive been using Dragon Carp direct for a few years now and frequently visit the Hucknall shop. I find their gear really good for the price and I have never had issues with broken kit or returns. Advice is always feely available as well.

Their prices are keen and do relect what you are getting. I can honestly say I have never lost a fish due to the gear either.

If you are not sure - visit one of the Dragon carp Roadshows beforehand and check out the gear. Its worth a look.

i called them they said theyd need the recipt, after much argueing they said they had put one in the post 1st class this is three months ago

Do not waste your money dealing with this shop/mail order outlet my purchase turned out to be total rubbish,certainly not what thought i was buying.In my opinion their add was misleading my complaint met with indifference....."If it's to good to be true" you know the old saying.My advice leave well alone.
