Dderw Farm Pools, Wales

overall there are three lakes in dderw pools, 2 day ticket waters and one syndicate, i have been fshing the day ticket venues for about 4 years and have great results basically every time. the lager of the day ticket waters is the best place to fish carp with most of the stock being around 12-18lbs but they do go over 20lb in the lake, the best place on the lake for fish is the reeded area at the back of the lake this is where the larger ones tend to be situated, for me personally mainline boilies ae by far the best bait to use on this lake, the cell particually works well, if you pair that up with a pva bag with(bait-tech)trout/hallibut pellets and a mixture of crushed and whole boilies in the bag you cant go wrong, and your amost garenteed to get a fish of decent size from this lake. but if you are looking for a very scenic lake then this isn't for you its in the middle of a field and there isn't much in the way of trees or cover so the wind does hit the lake quite badly, but if your going just on fishing then i would 100% recommend this place to you.
