I Am Loving This Ironhorse Warrior 2.3 Bike... Hug
I am loving this Ironhorse Warrior 2.3 bike... hugs the road well, the full suspension is great for all conditions. The cheaper price point means the bike is heavier, but all the components seem to function properly. Disc brakes work great even in the rain. Plan to ride this bike for 2 or 3 years then will upgrade to something higher in the Iron Horse brand.

I'm Sure You Stumbled Across This Review On A Sear
I'm sure you stumbled across this review on a search; this specific bike is an SMU, or Special Make Up, for sportchek. You wont find it anywhere else, other than Canada. If, like me, you wanted a quality full suspension but could not afford to fork over a grand, you've made a good choice! the single pivot suspension will turn off many people; but the bobbing is in fact very subdued! If you stand on a pedal and lock the front tire, sure, you will see movement, but the reality is you just don't notice while riding. Very good placement.
The rear fox vanilla is a good performer. The damping is perfectly matched to the stock spring weight (450) and is very plush.
If you like, you can mail Ironhorse and they will send you a heavier weight spring, free of charge, but the spring rate is matched to the forks, and may feel strange if you swap just the shock springs.
The spinner edge forks, are too soft. For me, they are okay, but I'm of small build, at 130lbs. They are quality, however, and with after market springs (if they exist for this fork) and a heavier weight oil, it will be a good performer; you just have to deal with on/off topping out issues. The acera rear derailleur, well, it works, and the alivio groupset upfront is slick. You will, however, experience some ghost shifting over the rough stuff. Oh, and the "mechanics" at sportchek were absolutely terrible. Making excuses so they could avoid tuning it (they're "supposed" to work like that"), i ended up spending a good hour tinkering until i got reasonable shifting. I had already spoken with the manager. he simply told me the mechanic was a part time, and to come back when the full time mechanic was working. Interestingly enough, i found a painted piece of cardboard in the pivot stuffed below the bearing. I tore it off, and some hidden paint came off with the cardboard. There was also a piece in the headset. A total moron was putting it together, no doubt. I hate sportchek; on the other hand, i love my LBS. If you can afford an extra $100 or so, buy a bike at your LBS.
You won't be sorry. The front SiS may seem familiar- you can find it on any wal-mart bike. Poor shifting in the front. These components are reasonably priced, and you can always upgrade. The brakes, though entry level, provide very powerful stopping power. To avoid an argument, i say this; they provide much more modulation and brake with much less pressure at the levers, compared with v-brakes. The rotors are slightly off center, a sign of poor quality, but they work well enough. This all adds up, to a very ridable bike. So far, its held up. I have attempted 1-4 foot drops numerous times, and while the suspension bottomed out, the landing was incredibly plush, especially for a trail spec'd bike.
For Canadians on a tight budget, give this bike a try. It holds up, has sufficient components, and is one of the cheapest quality bikes to be found in Canada. Either take it to an LBS for tune-up, or don't be afraid to hassle the $#@# out of the manager; its the only way you will get any service out of the $%#@%$#$#@#@#.
