Chester Services, J14, M56

I parked the car here for around 3 hours. I spent around 20 minutes downloading the app, loading a payment card, loading the reg number. They duly took £13.20 from my bank for the privilege. A few days later, then sent a demand for £60 saying that I had not paid and needed to send them £60. There is no phone number. There is no way of uploading a PDF file. All designed to make it difficult to appeal. I was sent on a wild good chase tracking down Nexus group, CP Parking. Eventually I appealed and got an email to say that the payment would be put on hold whilst they took 35 days to investigate. A couple of weeks later I got another letter, this time demanding £100. None of the emails they have replied back to me, can be sent to them as they are unmanned mail boxes. This is dreadful Chester services, I will never visit you again. You need to sort these racketeers out.

Just parked up for the night in Chester services, unimpressed, shower room rusty and mouldy, at least 6 out of service toilets, McDonald's half cold, other than that totally over the moon

Have been coming here every morning for a couple o months to buy a coffee and sandwich for lunch. However on one particular day I came in the morning 7amish and left a few minutes later (after buying coffee and a sandwich for lunch) then went to work.

It was Friday and I finished work at 12:00, had sandwich and began journey home. Decided to get a soft drink and went to the service station. And again on my way after a few minutes.

Two days later I have been given a fine of £90 (£60 if paid within 28 days). Apparently they have my car going in at 7amish and leaving at 12:30ish! ! They are saying I've been there for over 5 hours!

Obviously you simply ignore this and the subsequent balief threats as per the bbc watchdog programme (search YouTube), but everyone must be aware that this service station is running a car park scam!

Note to all outlets within (costa coffee, McDonald's wh smith et al) you are complicit in this scam!

Don't stay longer than two hours or you will be send a parking ticket. (£50 to £80) which (according to http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?autocom=ibwiki&cmd=article&id=56) you can successfully ignore.

The Wimpy was the best place at Chester Services, the burger was nice.

There was two people trying to sell credit cards as you entered but they left me alone when I said I wasn't interested.

Arcade noises were high and the arcade was wide open, beware if you have children with you - tantrum time.

The shop was adequate and some decent prices for a services.

The Restaurant I didn't bother with as the food looked a week old.
