RST Thermal Wind Block

i bought the rst thermal wind blocker in april 2014 ready for the autumn/winter months. i first wore it in the november, and at first i was pleased with it. however, after only been worn half a dozen times in 500/600 miles {six weeks} the material had bobbled under the armpits, another month and there would have been holes exposing my bare flesh!

i took the item back and was not offered a refund, the staff made me feel like a liar as though i had worn it more times than i stated; come-on now, why would i wear a thermal during the summer months? i already taken out the thermal liner on my rst jacket/trousers!!

i was told that 'friction' had caused it to bobble, which then makes this garment 'not fit for purpose,' and to rub salt into the wounds their £365 money back or exchange' holds no water, ie. "only if you haven't worn the item!!"

the decietful shop assistant only offered/persauded me to accept a store-credit note and cajoled me into thinking that they were doing this only out of 'goodwill.'

checkout your consumer rights, i did not have to accept a credit-note but is too late for me now - they still have MY money! after spending quite a large proportion of my disposable income in their shop, i find their customer service absolutely appalling.
