Don't ever apply for a mortgage with C & G! Halfway through our mortgage application they made the product we applied for obsolete and didn't tell us until completion day! The new rate they offered us is 3.99% as oppose to the 2.5% which makes a difference of hundreds of pounds every month.
Agree whole-heartedly. The are less than useless... 8 months and we still can't get the additional borrowing the agreed to... we are now having to use credit cards to pay for our renovation work, costing significantly more. Can't begin to explain how utterly incompetent they are. AVOID!!!
