New Joint Life Insurance
We were delighted with the service we received from National Friendly when we were looking to replace our existing life insurance. We had individual policies which were increasing in cost year on year, and these were getting to a level which was difficult to maintain. Our personal circumstances had changed and we wanted a policy which ensured our monthly payments remained the same. After a number of conversations with National Friendly we decided on a joint policy. We were offered a number of options and the individual who dealt with our enquiries was incredibly patient and provided as much information as possible without offering advice. (There was an option to pay for financial advice, but we did not take up this aspect of the service.) The individual called at times suitable for us and even offered to adjust their working hours once we were ready to complete the application, which was done over the phone.
I feel that the service we received was excellent and would definitely recommend National Friendly as a good option when looking to review your insurance cover.

High Quality And Informative
I had a call back from the new business team this morning after contacting National Friendly late on Friday to discuss a Tax Exempt Savings Plan for myself.
Throughout the phone call it was very clear that the person I was dealing with had in-depth knowledge about the product I was interested in which put my mind at rest. He was able to give me full details regarding the product including the minimum and maximums for payments and length of the policy and I finished the phone call very satisfied that I had all the information to make the right choice. I also requested the full policy details to be sent to me in the post just to clarify the information I had been told which was agreed with no issue.
I read up about the product on the National Friendly website which I found very informative and very clear. It proved this as when it came to our planned phone call, it was mainly clarifying what I had already read and understood.
Overall I'd say the operative was very clear, polite and had a good amount of knowledge regarding the product I was interested in.

I have just setup my (and my wife) health Insurance with the support of an incredibly helpful lady from NF. Lots of questions very well answered and she also completed the forms via the phone which were quite a bit easier than completing long hand! Thoroughly recommend NF for depth and breadth of cover and for value for money. A real find.Can't fault the process which wasn't 'hard sell' and just the right tone.

Understanding My Cover
I do not understand my policy. When I asked for advice I was sent a pamphlet which I did not understand. It is hard to know what I am covered for as there are so many different policies. For instance, I do not understand why I cannot see a private GP when some policies say you can. I do not know if my cover is out of date or cheap and not worth having. I get sent pamphlets which do not refer to my cover (why?).

Our latest healthcare product does include access to a private GP, however our older policies do not have that as a benefit. Policy Maturity Payout
all proceeds from my recent policy maturity were paid promptly and after an initial small query of the overall total was speedily resolved I was also sent some goodwill vouchers too....my calls to national friendly were dealt with very friendly and professionally and I am extremely pleased with the outcome...thanks again....

I called to discuss my options after my family circumstances changed. I got through to an advisor quickly and she could not have been more helpful in explaining clearly how the scheme works and what my options were. I felt she had my interests at heart, she answered all my questions with patience and assisted me in making the best changes to my policy. I was extremely pleased with the service today which was both friendly and professional.

Excellent Concise Clear Polite Telephone Representative
We were recommended national friendly health insurance by a friend who has been with them for 10 years.
The representative who dealt with our enquiries, was polite clear and concise. He was not pushy and oin no way tried to sway us to use his company
The quote we were given matched that of our current broker but offered full in and outpatient cover with no excess.The renewal quote from our broker had no inpatient cover and the excess was £1000.
It was a easy descion.
