i have been a customer of adrian flux for many years but am slowly changing all my policies with them

they send through renewals for such high amounts that i wonder if they keep any customers at all

i am astounded at their renewal costs and will not be using them in the future

there are many others out there with better rates and service

Well well well Adrian Flux. Got my quote online so that i don't have to talk to the insurance operator as we all know thay are like robots, i payed £340 for van insurance and i thought that was that, it was done.. well the next day i had a email saying they need to speak to me. Here we go i thought to myself. Why do you want a van? they asked if its not for work. I said it suits my needs at the moment and its not for work. One moment she said, 10 minutes later i've cancelled you're insurance and charged you £41. WOW Adrian flux £41 for 1 day and i did not use the van as i weren't sure if i was covered. Keep clear,

got a online quote paid the money. then they start asking questions to see if they can up there price.they dont send email reciept dont send docs online line until they do checks. i done this late at night and as no confirmation had to have a day off work costing my loads of money as did not know if was insured or not. had to phone a premium rate phone number the following day to find out if i was insured and kept holding on for a long time. spent over an hour with phone calls back and forth untill i said forget it i will go somewhere else.

for the last 15 years have insured at least 2 motors a year online and have never come across such an ignorant company as this. i have always recieved a email reciept within 10 minuets thanking me for the payment and that i am insured not this company. first email i recieved was 36 hours later tellimg me they have charged me £56.80 for 11 hours cover that equates to £44.000 thats 44 thousand pounds per year (criminal).

talking of criminal one of their checks is to google your phone number to see what they can dig up on you so they can increase the original quoted price. in my case they found that my electrical contacting company had advertised for building work and told me i had to change my occupation. what they fail to realise is that these free advertising websites often renew adverts to make it look like they have plenty of subscribers. regardless of what work someone may have done in the past is irrelevant. people do change jobs and to instruct someone to lie on a insurance policy is criminal.

dont know if i can go straight to the fca of have to go through you but will certainly be contacting trading standards.

Give a cheapish quote on price comparison sites to suck you in

Muggers, once you have paid your money they try to have you over for more.

Extornists, £56.80 for 11 hours insurance. thats 44 thousand pounds a year.

Criminals, incourage you to lie on a insurance policy.

All, be very wary when you see the low price on price comparison sites. The get you to pay, call you with further increases (+£250) before the policy starts, when you say you would rather not take the policy they notify you that the underwriter wont charge you as the policy hasn't started but that they will deduct a £50 processing fee. Surely this isn't legal!

I would suggest you stay as far away from them as you can.

Warning, please keep away from Adrain Flux Insurance, if you think is cheap then surely it "will be", Adrian Flux Insurance would put their best offers on price comparison sites then try to call them!? Then the price will change up to £ 160.00, if you attempt to cancel even within 1 hour they will telly you, we will charge £ 45.00 excess, illegal and shameless. Be warned!
