Stay well away from them they are a big cong if you get into financial difficulty they are not interested if you enter a DMP they will tell them they will accept the offer. But they are sneaky like that they don't tell you or inform you that they sell the debt on before they can receive payment. Try updating your details with them all they say is sorry I cant hear you. They Have a job speaking English. After attempts of emailing them and phoning them I still have had no luck been in touch with financial ombudsman and they can't get no where either. They tell you they never received your letters. stay well away from them you will be sorry. They won't even tell you where you account has been passed to they will try and send you a letter out when the company they think is good enough to deal with the account.

this company is appauling. If you dont want your health so suffer dont get one of there cards. There call centre staff can barely speak english and can only say sorry for the inconvenience,the call centre is in bangladesh or somewhere in Asia do i need to say more. 2 payments were made one they took off my card and another I paid over the counter not knowing they would still take it off the card. When I tried to get one of the payments back I was first told I would receive a cheque in the post, then she said it would be credited back to my card then she said it would go against my account to reduce my balance.By this time I was infuriated my blood pressure was through the roof and I put the phone down. I have a lumina card and the limit is £200.00 and the min monthly payment can be as low as £6.00. The Rise or Shout card for the same limit after paying the £30.00 monthly fee, there is no monthly fee with Lumina was £43.50.

If you want to build your credit please avoid this card and if possible never contact 0844 number.

My credit history wasn't great so I found this credit card company called "RISE". I applied for a credit card online and received it within a couple of days (£300).

Until it all went terribly wrong...

Firstly, If you can't afford a credit card don't go with them. Their charges are high and you will end up paying the minimum payment each month.

I paid over £60 a min payment a month...

Now to the worst part.

When you ring them you will find that their customer service is useless.

None of them can speak English, since it's a premium number it cost me a lot of money just trying to explain to them that I wanted to check my balance as they don't have an online website where you can log in.

Luckily I was able to pay off my card but they refuse to close it saying I needed to send them a proof of ID??? They didn't ask for anything when I paid the balance off!!!! I was so angry! I am still dealing with them. Going to send them a letter requesting them to close my account asap. Useless, bunch of idiots.
